We have visitied Thailand 2 times: summer 2001 and summer 2003. Both times on the same island. The first time we traveled together with Anne's parents. Next time we traveled with another family.

In the summer of 2003 we were 2 families, who went on holiday to Thailand together. We were 4 adults and 4 children aged 9-12 years.Vi had chosen to travel to the island of Koh Samui, located on the easterns side of Thailand. Here it is a wonderful climate all year round. Koh Samui is located at about 10 degrees north. This means that there is small fluctuations in both high and low tides, and temperature. The temperature is around 30 degrees (Celcius) year round / clock round. There is only minimal fluctuations. In the ocean, it is equivalent stable temperature around 25-26 degrees. During summer it is rain season here on the island, but it's only some showers now and then. If you are lucky, you can be here for several weeks without a single raindrop.
