Koh Nangyuan is a small island, located right on Koh Tao. Koh Tao is known as a "diver's paradise", located just north of Koh Samui. Koh Nangyuan is actually 3 islands that are bound together by a long sandy beach. We stayed here for 3 days, and this is the closest we have been to an "Island paradise". It's crystal clear waters around the island, and perfect conditions for snorkeling and diving. All of us snorklet here almost all day long. There is only one hotel on the island, and one restaurant, so the selection is not large. Most people will probably not stay here for 14 days... But what a place! It must really be experienced to understand this feeling.

In the background Koh Tao is seen. The hotel with restaurant and pier is located on the main island, while there are small huts on both the 2 other islands. The image is manipulated a bit. There were some people on the beach. But they destroyed the impression, and were removed ...

This is the place for quiet days. We rented a Long Tail boat for a day. Then we travelled around Koh Tao and went snorkelling at 3-4 different places. A bit of an adventure. Especially now, in retrospect, when only the pictures remain. The heat and the smells are not as strong anymore.
