The last place we wanted to visit in Florida before we went on was the Kennedy Space Center. If you are in the area this is a "must" to see. Especially for those of us who remember the first moon landing. This is a very vast area. Where about 12,000 people work today. In the glory days worked almost twice as many here. There are a lot of space history here, which we really should have used several days to explore. But as usual we spent a day here. And we got to see a lot, thanks to the low season. We visited the Apollo 5 exhibition, where an entire Apollo rocket is located. It is HUGE. Afterwards we went back to Orlando, for a final overnight before we headed for New York.
